The Knowledge Factory

Hexagon Tower forms part of a national network of science parks. Covering over 1.7 million sq. ft., with over 200 businesses, it is one of the UK's largest science park networks. We call this the Knowledge Factory.
The companies across these parks collaborate through regular events and a shared digital collaboration platform and app.

Facilitating connections

In today’s fast-paced business environment, it is important to focus on generating and maintaining a strong community in the workplace. We work hard to make your life easier and to make Hexagon Tower an enjoyable place to work.

We host regular technical and social events that bring together scientific and business leaders. We aim to connect start-ups, established businesses and industry leaders to support the UK’s innovation community. Our site teams also provide guidance and support throughout a company’s growth journey, to help minimise risks and maximise the chances of success.

The Hive Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the tower and is open Monday to Friday from 08:00-14:30 for breakfast and lunch. We also provide catering for meetings.

The Gym

The Gym

The Hexagon Tower Gym is open seven days a week from 07:00-21:00 for the exclusive use of occupiers to enjoy at their convenience, and runs fitness classes at lunchtime and in the evenings free of charge. The gym also has changing and showering facilities.

Transport and location

Hexagon Tower is situated in the Blackley area of North Manchester, approximately four miles (15 minutes' drive) from Manchester city centre. The nearest Metrolink station to Hexagon Tower is Crumpsall, which is a 10-minute walk from the building.

Manchester International Airport is only 11.7 miles away, taking under 25 minutes by car. It has flights from over 100 destinations worldwide, including the UK, Europe and the USA.
